St Stephen's Green (7) - Irish Green

Special Announcement

I launched Dublin Daily Colours last year, after my trip to Ireland, impressed by this country and its people.

As you may have noticed, my posts on this blog were fewer and fewer latley. The reason for this is that my Dublin photo stock will end in a short time. Due to the economic situation, I can't reach Dublin to renew my photo stock. That is why I need the help of Dublin Daily Colours' friends to carry it on.

For all those who want to make a small donation, I put a PayPal donation button on the right sidebar.
Every one of my posts will have every one of your names (and a link to your blog, if you have one) attached .

A big thank you for all Dublin Daily Colours friends who will help me maintain this blog !

Malahide (6) - Through the forrest

A beautiful path through the forrest - one could feel in another world when passes behind these majestic trees. I've chosen this photo for Theme Day.

You can view here thumbnails of all participants in February Theme Day:

Phoenix Park (5) - Farmleigh - Little Italy

If you visit Farmleigh in Phoenix Park you can stop for a coffee & jam buttered scone in this lovely green spot - outside is Ireland, but inside this house is Little Italy - you are surrounded
by beautiful Italian music.

Phoenix Park (1)

A walk through Phoenix Park - the largest urban park in Europe - will "recharge your batteries" .
The park is 3 km far from Dublin City Centre (bus number 10/a from O'Conell Street will take you there) and includes many atractions for visitors as Dublin Zoo, Peoples Garden, Sports Grounds, Ashtown Castle & Phoenix Park Visitor Centre, Aras an Uachtaráin - the residence of the Irish president and many more.
